Fairy Paradise  is a  triangular shawl worked from top to down with fingering-weight yarn at a larger gauge for more drape and lightness. It is essentially covered with 1/1 ribbing divided by fun sections of an easy-to-make lace pattern. In the end, you will knit the border with a lace pattern that reminded me of the wings of a fairy, hence its name, Fairy Paradise. Instructions are both on charts and written row by row.

Yarn: About 770m (845y) fingering-weight yarn.
Sample is knit with 2 skeins By Night Orion (75% bluefaced leicester - 25% Mid Brown Masham • 100g = 400/437ym) dyed with cochineal.

Size: 210cm x 85cm / 83" x 34"

Gauge (after blocking): 21sts x 26 rows = 10cm/4"  in 1/1 ribbings
Gauge is not necessary but a different one will affect the size of the finished shawl or the amount of yarn used and the quantity of yarn needed)

Needles: 3,75mm / US #5

Using circular needles will make it more comfortable to knit - Adapt needle size to obtain gauge)

Notions:  2 stitch markers, darning needles, scissors and pins for blocking
