It all starts with one est un châle triangulaire asymétrique orné de 2 motifs de dentelle simples à réaliser et bordé d’une torsade. Il se tricote en biais de gauche à droite. Des augmentations sont faites sur tous les rangs endroit et les motifs s’intègrent progressivement au fur et à mesure où le châle grandit. À la fin, la bordure torsadée de droite est tricotée perpendiculairement en rangs raccourcis– sans relever de mailles.

Echantillon (après blocage): En jersey endroit: 18m x 27 rangs = 10cm Selon le motif du diag. 2: 12m x 24 rangs = 10cm (L’échantillon n’est pas indispensable mais un changement d’échantillon affectera la taille finale du châle)

It all starts with one is an asymmetric triangle shawl covered with 2 simple and easy-to-knit lace patterns 
and bordered by a cable. Stitches are increased every right side row and the lace patterns are gradually 
integrated as the shawl grows. To finish, the cable border on the right side is knit perpendicular with short rows - without having to pick up any stitches. Charted and written instructions are provided.
 
Yarn: About 480m of DK yarn. Sample was knit using 
2 skeins of By Night Orion DK (75% Bluefaced Leicester – 25% Mid Brown Masham • 100g = 240m)
Needles: 4,5mm (US #7)
Notions: Stitch needle, cable needle, scissors

Gauge (after blocking: 18 stitches x 27 rows = 10cm in stockinette stitch 12 stitches x 24 rows = 10cm in Chart 3 lace Gauge will affect yardage and size of the final project
