Patience is a simple-shaped open cardigan with a raglan-type sleeve construction. The nice cable pattern that runs all around the collar can also be found underneath the sleeves and on both sides of the body.

It is knit seamlessly and top down with a fingering-weight yarn.
At the end of the raglan increases, the sleeves are placed on hold and are worked in the round after the body is done..
The model is accessible to curious beginners. Instructions are both on charts and written row by row.

Yarn:
Version 1: 3, 3, 3, 4, (4, 4, 5, 5) skeins of ByNightCreations Twinkle (75% mérinos sw - 15% nylon - 10% stellina bronze • 100g = 400m) / colorway Nerprun.
Version 2: 2 x 1, 1, 1, 2, (2, 2, 2, 2) skeins of ByNightCreations UltraLace (100% mérinos sw • 100g = 1200m) holding both threads together / colorway NuttGalls and Garance b1)

Metrage / Yardage:
about 930, 1020, 1150, 1250, (1400, 1500, 1690, 1760) m / 1030, 1130, 1290, 1400, (1580, 1680, 1910, 1950) y of fingering-weight yarn.

Gauge (after blocking) :
25 sts. x 32 rows = 10 cm / 4” in stockinette stitch.

Needles and notions:
Needles: 3 mm (US #2,5) for ribbing and 3,5 mm (US #4) (for the body: 80 or 100 cm circular needles for better knitting comfort - for the sleeves: 25 or 30cm circular needles or DPN’s). Note: a second cable will be necessary for the provisional cast-on.
A cable needle, 10 stitch markers, 1 row counter, darning needle, scissors.
